Anette has been in the legal field for a little over 19 years, operates her own firm (Beebe Law, PLLC) and has separately been in-house with Xcentric Ventures, LLC (the entity that operates the consumer complaint forum RipoffReport.com) for close to six years. Internet law and related business matters are her focus. Among many other things, she champions for free speech while simultaneously works to develop and implement policies and procedures to help combat abusers of her clients’ platforms in the ever evolving internet community. She also often presents CLE on topics relating to Section 230 and the bogus court order and DMCA schemes that are prevalent in the “reputation management” world at current.

Other personal projects include: presentations to high school students and adults/business on the topic of Internet use and the repercussions of the same (civil, criminal, and personal life); adding to her blog series articles "Fighting Fair on the Internet"; and creating workshops and online courses for her latest project called Smarter Internet Use. Anette is also a recovering adrenaline junkie. Just ask her about hydroplane boat racing and jumping out of a perfectly good airplane.
