The COMO Summit is a followup to the “Content Moderation And Removal At Scale Conference” held at Santa Clara Law in February 2018. The DC COMO Summit will further explore the vexing challenges that Internet platforms face in moderating content online. Recent phenomena like #deepfakes, Russian election interference, and extremist content are just some of the challenges that our experts will explore at COMO.

Cynthia Khoo is a digital rights lawyer and founder of Tekhnos Law. She represents and advises clients on issues such as net neutrality, freedom of expression, copyright, privacy, Internet regulation, intermediary liability, and digital trade. In September 2018, Cynthia will begin the LL.M. with Concentration in Law and Technology at the University of Ottawa, focusing on intermediary liability, platform regulation, and technology ethics.
